Book editing and ghostwriting

THE SITUATION:

This author was a firebrand on a mission to educate and empower the small investor by exposing the self-serving practices that permeated the financial industry in the U.S. and beyond. The goal was to develop a 200-page book that could be used as a guide for small investors to make better financial choices.

I was hired to organize and edit his existing material, research new topics and prepare a publisher-ready manuscript.

THE SOLUTION:

A brainstorming meeting resulted in chapter topics and subtopics. Original notes were sketchy, so I organized existing material then researched and wrote copy for about 80% of the book to create a manuscript.

THE RESULT:

The 200+page manuscript was completed in August of 2008. Subsequently, I also wrote a series of Internet articles based on the book.
